In the Fall of 2023, we were approached by AI Forge to help fill over 300 seats at their first-ever series of investor events in both London and Miami. When asked why they came to us particularly, they said they were looking for a marketing agency with a track record in investor relations.

The Approach

In addressing the challenges, our approach diverged from conventional methods due to the selective nature of investors and the urgency of the timeline. We realized that traditional strategies wouldn't suffice, given investors' discerning criteria and packed schedules.

Our strategy had to be bold and targeted, especially with the challenge of quickly building a network from scratch across two continents.

We leveraged short-form videos to boost investor awareness for each founder, email marketing for targeted outreach, and social media to keep the events top of mind.

Short-form videos to create hype and awareness

To generate buzz and increase awareness among potential investors, we crafted engaging short-form videos showcasing the potential of its startups and the impact of investing in AI. These videos were strategically distributed across digital platforms.

Email marketing to facilitate conversations

Targeted email marketing campaign designed to initiate personalized conversations between founders and carefully selected investors. By curating content that showcased each startup's innovation and potential, we facilitated pre-event discussions, setting the stage for meaningful engagements during investor week and enhancing the likelihood of closing deals.

Targeted LinkedIn advertising

A series of advertisements aimed at specific investor profiles with a proven interest in AI and startups. This approach ensured our message reached the most relevant audience, increasing event attendance and engagement rates by connecting with new investors.
